The upcoming Totoro Forest Art Auction Benefit Event is to be held at Pixar on September 6th. Tickets are selling online! The first pre-sale will start monday 8/11 at 10am. Here's the options available - Please note that all tickets include the stunning Art of Totoro Forest Book (worth $40)

Forest Friend - 100$ regular admission + book.
Forest Sponsor - 200$ includes admission + book + signed limited edition print
Forest Champion - $300 includes middle VIP live auction seating + book + signed limited edition print + gift certificate to Blowfish Sushi
Forest Hero - $500 includes front VIP live auction seating + book + an original drawing by one of the artists

The Return from the Con

After 5 pretty exhausting days we're home. What a great opportunity to see amazing artwork and to meet the artists that create them. It was a real pleasure to get to meet Irene Gallo, Gregory Manchess, John Howe, Eric Fortune, Todd Lockwood, Rebecca Guay and Donato Giancola among so many talented others. I was so excited talking to so many illustrators that I lost my voice. It was a great experience and I hope to do it again next year. Here is a pic of the booth my wife Andrea and I spent so much time building.

Comic Con

I got a booth at this year's San Diego Comic Con. The convention runs from July 24th to the 27th. My booth is #4720 in the Fantasy Illustrator's Area and I'll be there all 4 days selling prints of my artwork. The convention is almost sold out. Hope you all can make it.

Totoro Forest Project

I was fortunate enough to be asked by the über talented Daisuke Tsutsumi to contribute a piece for a charity event called the Totoro Forest Project. This project is a benefit to save the Sayama forest on the outskirts of Tokyo, Japan, and was established by the oscar winning filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki. My little piece was done in carbon pencil and watercolor and is a little portrait of a little wind blown tree spirit protecting her tree.

Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Indy was a really fun project to work on and of course one of my earliest inspirations for wanting to work in film.
