The Return from the Con
After 5 pretty exhausting days we're home. What a great opportunity to see amazing artwork and to meet the artists that create them. It was a real pleasure to get to meet Irene Gallo, Gregory Manchess, John Howe, Eric Fortune, Todd Lockwood, Rebecca Guay and Donato Giancola among so many talented others. I was so excited talking to so many illustrators that I lost my voice. It was a great experience and I hope to do it again next year. Here is a pic of the booth my wife Andrea and I spent so much time building.

Hi there Christian. I saw your booth and enjoyed viewing your artwork. Amazing stuff! I'm sorry i didn't get a chance to talk to you, maybe next year ;)
I've noticed some of your work looks similar to Carlos Huante in a good way. You guys worked together at ILM right? I'm also looking for some how to work from you... I'm going to have track down previous issue of imagineFX, but is there more coming?
Keep up the great work!
George
Man it was great hanging out with you. The booth looked great.
Hey George,
Yes there should be more coming, maybe a book or a dvd. Right now its just that Imagine FX article from last summer.
Carlos and I have worked on a lot of projects at ILM for about 9 years. He's probably the best monster designer I've ever seen.
Thanks!!
Hey Christian,
It was good seeing you at comic con this year. Thanks for all the great feedback, super motivating.
Hope to have the jet bike completed this week!
Chris-
Many compliments for your job, pal! Thought you're good illustrator as director!
Hi Christian, unfortunately I caught your booth while you were on a break, I had hoped to say hi. The work looked great, I'll look for you again next year.
Nathan
